Everton Kalah, Koeman Central Conscious in the Spotlight
Concerns about dismissal felt Everton manager, Ronald Koeman, following poor results in Olympic Lyon cons match in the Europa League group phase 2017-2018.
Everton failed to grab three points after ending the game with a 1-2 defeat when playing at home, Goodison Park, on Thursday (19/10/2017).
Merseyside Blue goalkeeper was twice broken by Nabil Fekir in the sixth minute and Bertrand Traore (75 ‘).
The home side only replied once through Ashley Williams (69 ‘).
Following these minor results, Koeman realized that his position was now on the edge of the horn.
“If the team does not win and look bad, the spotlight always leads to the manager,” said the Dutchman was quoted from FourFourTwo.
“The final decision is not in my hands, but the club’s top brass, if I am not considered the right person, they will say it,” he said.
Everton’s performance under Koeman’s command is not exactly satisfactory.
The Toffes’s beralas have six wins, four draws and six defeats from 16 games this season.
